Pump and Plate
Privacy policy
Pump and Plate keeps everything you log on your phone. There are no accounts and no servers, so we can't see your data, and we don't want to.
Who we are
Pump and Plate is made by Luch Electronics LLC. For any privacy question, email support@luchelectronics.com.
What the app keeps, and where
Everything you enter stays in the app's private storage on your phone. That includes:
- workouts, sets, notes and training plans
- food logs, recipes, planned meals, groceries and goals
- weigh-ins, sleep, water and supplements
- progress photos
- your settings
Other apps can't read it, and deleting the app deletes it. Some of this is health information, which is one more reason it never leaves your phone.
Backups you make
You can save a backup file, or let the app save backups automatically to a folder you choose. A backup holds your logged data, and your photos if you include them. If that folder syncs to a cloud service such as Google Drive or iCloud Drive, that service stores the copy under its own terms, so choose a folder you trust.

Like any website, Open Food Facts and Hugging Face see your phone's internet address when it connects to them. For tips, we receive sales totals from the store, never your name or payment details. We use bug-report emails only to reply and fix the problem.
The AI
The AI runs on your phone. You can download one of our models, or on a newer iPhone use Apple's built-in model, which Apple also runs on the device. Nothing you type in Chat is sent anywhere. The AI can't change your data by itself: it only prepares cards that you check and confirm.
Permissions the app asks for
- Camera: to scan barcodes and take progress photos.
- Notifications: for the morning reminder and rest alerts, which your phone schedules itself.
- Alarms and reminders (Android): so a rest alert arrives on time.
- Face ID or fingerprint: to lock the app, if you turn that on. Your phone checks it, and the app never sees your face or fingerprint.
- Files and folders: only the ones you pick, for backups, sounds and model files.
What we never do
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
- No ads, and no selling or sharing of data, because we have none to sell or share.
Children
Pump and Plate is made for adults. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly receive anything from them.
Your choices
Your data is on your phone, so you control it directly. Save a backup or export spreadsheets in Settings > Your data. Delete everything by uninstalling the app, and delete any backup files you saved elsewhere. If you emailed us, ask and we'll delete that email.
Not medical advice
Pump and Plate helps you track. It isn't a medical device, and its numbers and AI answers aren't medical advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Bigger changes will also appear in the app's update notes.
